Me and my Kids: Parenting from a Distance
This
booklet helps non-resident parents retain meaningful contact
with their children following separation or divorce. Distilled
from a mass of research material, the ideas are presented
in a concise yet easy to understand style.
The project was commissioned by the Child Support Agency,
the Department of Family and Children's Services and the Family
Court of Australia.

| Conforming to
tight deadlines we |
 |
- gathered information from specialist experts in a series
of focus groups
- distilled international research and conducted literature
searches
- negotiated content with a stakeholder steering committee
- conceived and wrote a 48 page resource to suit men's
learning styles.
Under close media attention the booklet was launched at Parliament
House Canberra on Friday August 30th, 2002, by The Hon Larry
Anthony MP, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs and the
Hon Alastair Nicholson AO, RFD, the Chief Justice of the Family
Court of Australia. At the launch it was praised for its easy
to read style and the practical assistance it gives to all
parents.
